Meet Jamie
Rooted Ayurveda grew from my own journey of slowing down, listening to my intuition, and learning to work with my body rather than against it. Since beginning my personal healing path in 2005, I felt a quiet but persistent calling to support others in a more holistic and sustainable way—one grounded in balance, intention, and self-trust.
For over 20 years, I worked as an esthetician, building close, trusting relationships through hands-on care and deeply personal conversations. Over time, those connections—along with hosting women’s gatherings and retreats—revealed a deeper desire to support others beyond the surface level. I saw how stress, disconnection, and life transitions were showing up in the body, and I felt called to offer guidance that addressed the whole person.
Ayurveda has been part of my awareness long before I formally studied it. I was first introduced to its principles in 2004 while studying holistic skincare at the Euro Institute, and even then, I knew I would one day return to it. Years later, when I opened my first textbook at the Shakti School, I felt an immediate sense of alignment—as if I had come home to something my body already understood. The roots and foundations of this medicine resonate deeply with me, both personally and professionally.
Through Ayurveda, I learned the power of honoring individuality, daily rhythm, and seasonal living—making small, intentional shifts that gently restore energy, clarity, and balance over time. I’m especially drawn to thoughtful, growth-oriented individuals navigating stress, hormonal transitions, or periods of disconnect, who are seeking compassionate, grounded support that fits into real life. Inspired by nature, family, and a deep desire to serve, I walk beside my clients as a guide—offering education, presence, and support that empowers them to reconnect with their inner wisdom and move forward with confidence.
